<p>Kieron Burke (http://dft.uci.edu) plans to hire up to 3 postdoctoral fellows, to work on development of<br/>
density functional theory (both ground-state and time-dependent) in chemistry, materials, and for<br/>
single-molecule transport. A PhD in theoretical physics or chemistry or a related subject and a strong<br/>
background in basic quantum mechanics are required, but experience with electronic structure calculations<br/>
is not. UC Irvine is an excellent place to work, especially if you enjoy sunshine. Electronic<br/>
applications, preferably in the form of a single pdf and including the names of at least two references,<br/>
should be addressed to juand-at-uci.edu, with subject line &quot;Burke post-doc search&quot;. Consideration and filling<br/>
