The Los Alamos National Laboratory is anticipating an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate position in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. Candidates are expected to have expertise in many-body approaches for strongly correlated electron systems, especially in dynamical mean field theory (DMFT).  In addition, experience with band-structure calculations would be desirable. Outstanding candidates may also be nominated for a director's fellowship. Interested candidates are encouraged to send a curriculum vita with a list of publications, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to Dr. Jian-Xin Zhu at jxzhu-at-lanl.gov.
