<p align=3D"justify" ><font size=3D"2" ><br/>
The subject of this postdoctoral study is to understand the di=EF=AC=80usio=
ns processes in SiGe using an atomistic multilevel approach, combining ab i=
nitio and kinetic Monte Carlo calculations.</font></p>
<p align=3D"justify" ><font size=3D"2" >This work will take place in CEA-Gr=
enoble within the simulation laboratory of the fundamental research departm=
ent. The funding is provide by the French National Research Agency (ANR) th=
rough the OSiGe Sim project. This research is in the framework of multiscal=
e simulations applied to nanoelectronics issues. Ab initio calculations wil=
l be performed in order to determine the di=EF=AC=80usion mechanisms in SiG=
e, using vacancies and interstitials scenarii. Kinetic Monte Carlo will the=
n be used to simulate the whole di=EF=AC=80usion process under equilibrium =
and non-equilibrium for di=EF=AC=80erent Ge concentration, temperature, and=
 stress conditions.</font></p>

et salary range is 2,000&euro;- 2,400&euro; per month, depending on seniori=
ty, quali=EF=AC=81cation and experience. The start date is June 2008. Appli=
cations are being considered now. The applicant must have strong skills in =
quantum physics, atomistic simulations and solid state physics, licensed by=
 a PhD in the domain. A good knowledge of computer programming and environm=
ent is essential.</font></p>
