A postdoctoral postion is available in the field of electronic structure calculations, for the development and application of new range−separated hybrid methods which combines wave function and density functional calculations (for details see http://www.lct.jussieu.fr/pagesequipe/DFT/).

The candidates are expected to have or to soon have a PhD in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry or Physics. Experience in programming is strongly desired as the postdoctoral position is aimed at extending range−separated hybrid methods to large systems.

The work is part of an ANR project (WADEMECOM), which includes collaborations with others researchers with the groups of J. Ángyán (Nancy) and T. Saue (Strasbourg), as well with other groups in Denmark, Germany, Italy, USA, etc.

The position is for 20 months.
