The research project focuses on the theory and simulation of optical properties of low-dimensional nanostructures, collective plasmon excitations, and photoassisted electron tunneling. It involves both theoretical developments and numerical simulation using available computer codes. Candidates with experiences in electronic structure, time-dependent density functional theory, electron transport, optical properties of nanostructures are encouraged to apply. The position will be jointly appointed at both IOP-CAS, Beijing and Department of Physics, Gothenburg University, Sweden. The initial appointment is for one year, with possibility to extend for another year.
