| Our home built STM operates
at temperatures down to 2K and magnetic fields up to 15 Tesla. It
is
equipped with coarse XYZ motors providing a scanning range of several cm and
with a fine motor for zooming
in to sub-atomic length
scales. Electrical leads allow measurements in the presence
of externally applied
currents
and voltages. |
