Since March 2022, I am also an extraordinary professor in the astronomy group of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of the Western Cape.

Note: if you are a high school student who is interested in astronomy, please be aware that I do not mentor high school students in research, even on an unpaid basis. Instead, I would encourage you to (a) learn to code, especially in Python, so that you will be better prepared for any future research opportunities; (ii) maintain a habit of recreational reading (in any genre), so that your own writing will become stronger and more instinctive; and (c) apply to Rutgers for college, so that you can take advantage of all the excellent educational resources that exist here!
